We’d really been looking forward to our vacation in Greece, but what happened took some of the joy out of it. The villa looked large and nice from outside, but inside it felt old and outdated. The grumpy older renter watched us the whole time, which made us very uncomfortable. We had to pay extra for an old air conditioner that nearly burned our house. The beach is a good 20-minute walk away, and you need a car to do anything else. We won’t go back.

We came to surprise our friends and hoped to have a great time at the villa, but the grumpy renter watching us constantly made us uncomfortable. The place was clean and nice, though a lot of the equipment was old and didn’t work. Our friends had to pay for an air conditioner that looked like it came from the 60s. The renter would sit on his balcony and watch us talk and relax by the pool without saying or doing anything, and we felt observed the whole time.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ifigeneia. It was so quiet, and the children loved the warm days by the pool. Everything was great, from the air conditioning in every room to the marvelous, newest-model jacuzzi and car. We’ll definitely come back next year. Thanks for everything, Kiki.

A lovely place to stay, only a few minutes from Chania town. It’s really quiet, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The place was spacious enough and basically fine, though some of the equipment felt dated. The renter made us feel uneasy. Honestly, it was the worst decision of my life.
