Villa Kedria with a panoramic ocean view

I've stayed at this beautiful Villa in both 2019 and 2024, and the owners were just as thoughtful each time. They kept checking that we had everything we needed and made sure we wanted for nothing. The place is fully equipped, and the hospitality is top-notch. They treat you like family, the kind of family you actually like. Thanks again for the Villa Kedria experience. I'm already looking forward to visit number three, four, and five.

The view was breathtaking, a full 360-degree panorama over the city of Chania. We spent a week here and enjoyed every moment. The owners were very friendly and provided everything we needed. Just perfect, and we'll definitely be back!

Villa Kedria is a magical place, with a beautiful panorama you could look at all day. We made full use of the pool, pool table, and BBQ area. The villa feels secluded and peaceful, though having a car is necessary. A 15-minute drive gets you to a group of local beaches or the main town of Chania, and supermarkets and restaurants are plentiful nearby. Joanne & Nikos were the friendliest, most welcoming couple. They had homemade food and Raki waiting for us, and the fridge was stocked. Joanne arranged a cleaning at a time that suited us during our week, with fresh towels and sheets, and the villa was spotless. Our flight wasn't until the evening, so they kindly let us stay until it was time to head to the airport. When we said goodbye, they gave us a bottle from the Kedria Distillery to enjoy back in the UK. They also recommended Seaze The Day for boat trips. This is a holiday we'll never forget, and we'll definitely return.

Villa Kedria's grounds are beautiful, and the hosts were very kind until we left. We came back from what was otherwise a perfect vacation in Crete, but at this price there are issues we shouldn't have had to deal with. The bathrooms often had little or no water in the morning. On departure day, there was none for a shower or even washing our hands before the flight. The master bathroom wasn't really usable: the shower isn't separate and there isn't enough counter space, so the house is essentially three bedrooms, plus one in the basement, with 1.5 bathrooms, plus one in the basement. The AC units shut off whenever any door was open, whether a bedroom door, the main entrance, or the living room door to the pool. Saving costs is understandable, but not during a heat wave at this price. The downstairs room is only reached from outside, something I should have noticed when booking, and it's slanted because it's on the driveway. It also smelled badly of mold, so we lit a candle every day. The washing machine stained a lot of our clothes. After the trip, I raised these concerns with the owner, who didn't reply and blocked me on WhatsApp.
