We had such a good time at Vasiliki’s villa. It’s beautifully set up in the mountains, and the drive for shops, restaurants, or town takes a bit of planning, but the setting makes it worth it. The house was exactly as described, spotless, and had even more amenities than the listing mentioned. Vasiliki was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We used it as a base to explore this part of Crete and Chania. Most places we needed were about 30 minutes away, while the best beaches took around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. There are also some nice beaches within a half-hour drive. Having a car is a must. Highly recommended, we’d happily stay again.

The villa is newly renovated and really comfortable, with new beds, bathrooms, and kitchen appliances. The pool was a lovely place to unwind, with a great view, and it wasn’t too deep for our kids. I’ve travelled extensively, but nowhere I’ve stayed compares with this place or its hosts. Vasilliki and her family made us feel so welcome. They thought of every detail during our stay, helped us celebrate a birthday, found toys for my two young daughters, and left enough food to see us through the first few days. We loved it so much I wish we could have stayed forever.
