Villa Splantzia

We had plenty of room for our three-generation family of seven, and the house was well stocked. My kids were especially happy with the pool and whirlpool hot tub, while I loved having a spacious, very private patio. The villa sits in beautiful old alleyways near a lovely square, with the harbor and restaurants just a two-minute walk away. Peggy met us and was so helpful, and both she and Evi responded quickly whenever we needed anything. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Peggy, the owner and hostess, was warm, informative, and very welcoming. We found the villa more comfortable than expected, with clean linens and an immaculate kitchen. Being right in the heart of the old town meant we could walk everywhere. We had an absolutely marvelous stay.

For our group of six, three couples, the house had lots of space and everything we needed. It was very clean and well looked after. Peggy gave us helpful information and made check-in go smoothly. The location was ideal, with whatever you need within walking distance. I’d absolutely recommend staying here when visiting Chania.

Our group of seven had room to spread out in the beautiful Villa Splantzia, with plenty of private space as well as comfortable shared areas. The location is hard to beat: cafes around the corner in a lovely square, the sea a short walk away for morning swims, and helpful neighbors who got us back on track when we were lost. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating. When the airline lost our luggage, Peggy went to the airport to collect our bag and brought it to us. I’ve never experienced such a generous, hospitable host. I can’t wait to come back and will recommend the villa to anyone visiting Chania.
