We've had three October holidays here, and the weather's been just right. Haraki is a small fishing village on a horseshoe-shaped bay, overlooked by castle ruins, with about a dozen good bars and tavernas and plenty of beachfront apartments. It's a wonderful little secret on Rhodes. If you're after nightlife, discos or karaoke, you'll hate it here.

I stayed for four days in early July 2025. It was quiet and peaceful, just right for relaxing. The place was clean and beautiful, with a lovely view from the balcony. Around it are restaurants, cafes and markets for all kinds of tastes. The beach also has a sun lounger and umbrella for your use.

Haraki is a lovely, quiet little village, with lots of restaurants and small food shops. You can book directly with the owners or through Booking.com, and M&S Car Hire nearby makes renting a car easy. Our apartment on the second floor at Haraki Blue Pearl was very clean and well maintained, with a great balcony view over the sea. The owners are very kind. The kitchen is practical and well equipped. Free sun loungers are available on the beach, but bring your own beach towels.

The seafood costs quite a bit, but the fish is fresh and delicious. It's a beautiful beach, with lots of small restaurants where you can eat and drink really well. The area is somewhat isolated from bigger, busier towns like Lindos, Rhodes and Archangelos, but there are plenty of rental options for cars, motorcycles, scooters, boats and more. A unique experience!
