Haraki Village

The village is wonderfully laid-back, with restaurants along the bay and a few extra shops. We spent a week here with our two children in the Superior Appartement, whose garden and terrace face the sea. It was just 10 m from the water. Sunbeds are available from 10 Eur/day for two beds and an umbrella. Within 50 m, a hotel/restaurant has a small shop for frappe and other summer holiday essentials. You can also rent a car from the owner. The beach is mostly sandy in the north, with some stones. Heading south, the stones become more common until the far end is entirely stony. For outings with kids, there’s the nearby castle ruin, about a light 20 min hike, as well as Lindos and boat trips. We recommend Kostas boat trip. Haraki was a very relaxing place to stay.

Maria and Tonia were so kind, and we loved the homemade marmelade. The apartments are cosy and had everything we needed. Being right by the sea was a big part of what we loved, and Charaki is a lovely base for exploring the Island.

At the heart of this quiet, beautiful resort village is a shingle bay. For sand and good beach facilities, there’s another beach a short distance to the north. It’s also easy to get to Rhodes town or other parts of the island.

Calm, clean, nicely designed, and equipped with everything we needed. Thank you, Antonia and the girls, for all the care, hospitality, and kindness. We’ll definitely visit again.
