Erolidae Villas

The two women at Reception went above and beyond, sorting out any small issues we raised during our stay of more than a week. The villas are lovely and spacious, in a generally quiet part of the island, with either a private pool or a large jacuzzi. The cleaning staff fell well below what we expected from a place like this. Breakfast was very basic at €13 per person, and the ham and turkey slices we ordered caused minor food poisoning twice, which was totally unacceptable. For what the final package included, it felt rather overpriced. Decent holiday overall.

The villa was cleaned every day, and the service was high quality. The staff were extremely nice, friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. Thanks for such a lovely stay, Erolidae Villas. We’ll definitely be back! We liked absolutely everything about the villa itself. It was beautiful and spacious, with modern decor and a well-equipped kitchen. There was a bottle of nice local wine waiting for us as a kind welcome. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved both outdoor areas: the big terrace with table and chairs, and the pool terrace with sunbeds and a grass chill-out spot. Flowers like lavender, eucalyptus and banana plants made the atmosphere even nicer. We were also impressed by the speaker system, which let us play music outside from our phones.

We stayed as a couple in October 2022, and there was plenty of room for us. With two bedrooms and two en-suites, four adults might find it a little tight, as the indoor dining table is small and there are only two sunbeds. The villas are spaced apart, with reasonably sized pools, comfy sunbeds, outdoor dining tables and lovely interiors. They match the pictures, and the site is stylish, exceptionally clean and well presented. It felt special. Daily service was brief: a quick clean, fresh coffee, tea and water, and the bins taken out. Linen was changed once that week. There were mini toiletries, toilet paper, and all the kitchen appliances needed for two to four people. No dishwasher, so dishes are hand washed, but they provide new cloths, dish soap and tea towels. The staff were kind, discreet and helpful. The pools, both private and shared, weren’t heated. Even with good October weather, the water felt bracing and might be hard for very young or older guests. Parking at the front of the site was easy. The villas climb uphill from there, but our second-row villa was easy to reach by steps or slope. We thought it was excellent value and a really special stay. We’d love to return.

Nico and Kelly made the stay much better. From letting us check in at 11pm, sorry!, to answering questions and helping us find dinner reservations, their hospitality made everything easier. The villas are beautiful, clean and good value. We chose one with a private pool, and I’d recommend it. The pool was just the right size for a relaxed day or evening, and the sunset from the decking was beautiful. Argostoli is a bit far away, but with a hire car, nowhere on the island feels too far.
