Lovia Mykonos Hotel

The room looks beautiful, but the design isn’t very practical. There’s no storage by the sinks for toiletries, nowhere to hang bathrobes, and the shower doors don’t close all the way. I don’t think the hotel will age well. The service, though, was excellent: everyone, from the lobby staff to the cleaning lady, was kind, smiley, and professional. We loved the location, about a 15-minute walk downhill to downtown. The uphill walk back was hard, but we enjoyed the short daily hike.

During our five days at Levia Hotel, I felt it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was top-notch, especially the cleanliness and service. The bar and massage service were excellent, and whenever we asked for our car, it arrived extremely quickly. They cleaned the private pool in our room every day, which made the stay even better. I also left my expensive camera in a car by mistake, and the hotel tracked it down and returned it safely. I was beyond satisfied and highly recommend the hotel.

My best friend and I had the most incredible holiday. The hospitality, place, food, and drinks were all five-star. We even went to Santorini, missed this place, and came back to book again. We can’t wait to return next year. Thank you!

What I’ll remember most is how thoughtful the little extras were: wine and fresh fruit waiting at check-in, water brought in the afternoon, then a homemade chocolate bar the evening before we left. The staff made the stay feel special too. Dia was lovely around the pool and at breakfast, Anna made great drinks (try the welcome lemonade with a little gin, and my wife loved her caramel-foam cafe freddo), and Teresa at reception sorted our airport transfers. Everyone was helpful, and the rides there and back went smoothly. The Signature Suite Sea View with Outdoor Jetted Tub worked perfectly for two. We loved the comfortable king bed, rain shower, sunset-facing patio and heated tub, which was just right for sitting up to watch the sunset or leaning back for a full soak. The pool area is beautiful, with an infinity pool at a comfortable wading depth and plenty of loungers and couches in both sun and shade. The restaurant wraps around two sides, so we could enjoy the view at meals or have a snack by the pool. Breakfast was among the best we had on the trip, with yogurt, granola, fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, smoked salmon, Greek honey, pastries, fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, plus eggs made to order. Lovia is also an easy walk from Mykonos town. It took us about 15 minutes to get to the windmills and Little Venice, and under 10 minutes to the restaurants we tried. The walk there is downhill, with a fairly steep climb back, so plan for that. I’d happily stay again and recommend it for a luxury visit to Mykonos, though part of me hopes this newer hotel stays a bit of a secret.
