The staff were such warm, cheerful people, and they even let us leave our bags there until our 6 pm ferry. I stayed for three nights last year and was happy with the hotel. The amenities suited us, breakfast was included, and it’s close to both the port and the city center. I’d stay here again if I return to Chios Island. Thanks for everything 🙏🏻🥰

I was in the Olive room by the entrance, and it had the basic things I needed. The air conditioning was a big help. I’ve no complaints. A coffee machine might have been nice, but with the sea view outside, why drink coffee in the room? 😅

Blerida, the lovely woman who greets you with a smile, can speak several languages: Turkish, Albanian, English, Greek, and Japanese. The owner is very helpful and polite too. Such a wonderful place. Go ahead and book it, no need to overthink it.

The room was spotless and thoughtfully prepared again, and the bed was the most comfortable one we had on Chios. We’ve just had another really pleasant stay at Castro Rooms. It’s handy for the ferries, restaurants, and shops, so when we’re in Chios Town we wouldn’t look elsewhere. Thanks, and hope we’re back soon!

With only three rooms, Hotel Castro Chios has a quiet, personal feel, and the rooms are spacious enough for up to three people. It’s in a lovely old stone building right in central Chios, with shops, restaurants, and attractions an easy walk away. Breakfast is included at Pura Vida restaurant, known as one of the best places to eat on Chios. It’s a simple breakfast with coffee or tea. Hotel Castro Chios is a real little gem.
