The host, Kaliopi, was kind and professional, and the apartments have an intriguing story connected to history. Charafakia is a great place to stay, close to the airport and the city of Chania. There are many beaches with beautiful scenery, plus Greek tavernas serving excellent food. The unique oil, wine, cheese, and more are worth tasting. We can't say much else, just go see it.

We stayed at Skandalis suites in mid August 2017. The area feels both upscale and traditional, and it's very close to Chania city. Some of the region's best beaches are nearby, including Kalathas, Macherida and SEITAN limania!!! The service, views, pool, location, and traditional character of both the rooms and area make the price quite competitive. Ms. Popi, the "soul" of Skandalis Suites, made the stay even more pleasant with her warm hospitality, friendly chats, handmade coffee, and delicious local pies. Thank you, we'll come back! Tasos

Skandalis is the best place at Chorafakia. The apartment was wonderful and fully equipped, and the owners were kind and friendly. They gave us whatever we needed. One of the best stays ever.
