A terrible stay. The breakfast had little choice and was mostly low-quality food. In the so-called budget room, cleanliness was almost nonexistent. The room photos were tucked into an additional attachment in the budget-room offer, which is the tricky part, so don’t make the mistake of booking one. The bathroom was dirty and worn out, the sink and shower were clogged, and the broken shower head was barely usable. When someone on a lower floor showered, we lost water pressure and hot water. The sheets and towels were stained, and the replacements we requested were stained too. The bed seemed like an old relic from the 19th century, its paint peeling, and the mattress felt like sleeping on a rock.

A cozy hotel with very friendly staff. The homemade breakfast really stood out, as did the parking reserved for clients. I’d consider it a perfect spot for a family holiday.

The room was narrow, and the towels felt old and rough, as if the textiles weren’t clean enough. They need replacing. On the plus side, the host replied promptly, breakfast was great, and our 14- and 7-year-old kids especially enjoyed it. The parking area was large. It’s in the centre of Golden Beach, close to Panagia Village, a bakery and supermarket, with plenty of beaches and taverns nearby. The staff were cheerful.

The garden was pleasant, and the balcony had plenty of space. The staff were friendly, too. But the room was smaller and different from what I expected from the booking photos, and we hadn’t realized we’d be assigned an old, cramped room. Be sure to request a renovated one when booking. Breakfast ended at 9 a.m. and they didn’t refill it, so you had to get up early if you wanted to eat. The parking area was full of trees and bushes, though you could park there. During our 11-day stay, towels were changed just twice, and I had to ask for an extra change. The sound insulation was very poor, and we could hear everything the neighbor was doing.

The owner and staff were very polite, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was very good. Prices were reasonable, and the hotel is about 7-8 minutes from the beach, with a bakery and markets nearby. Great value.
