There was a lot wrong with the first house: the floor, kitchen, shower, and even the sheets were dirty. Paint was peeling off the pool and turned the children's feet blue. Garden chairs and loungers, the fly screen, and the roller shutter were among the broken things. Noise from the entertainment staff at the neighboring hotel was also a problem. We wouldn't have stayed there anyway. The owner wasn't on-site, but responded quickly and offered another house five minutes away. It had just two bedrooms and a smaller pool, though the pool was still big enough for us. That wasn't an issue, and the replacement was much cleaner and quieter. The owner was helpful.

We found the house dirty, and there was a used condom package in the garden. Pine needles made it impossible to see the pool. The bathroom faucet dripped into the cabinet, so we had to collect the water every two hours. The air-conditioning filters were caked with dirt, and when we turned them on the whole house smelled.
