Ostria Hotel

We spent seven nights here as a family with a toddler. The area is quiet, the garden is well kept, and there are plenty of shops and taverns nearby. Being close to the beach was a real plus. The studio felt too small for us with a two-year-old, so I think an apartment would suit a family better. The bathroom was small too, and sound carried a lot from the neighboring studios. I could hear my brother-in-law snoring, and when my toddler got upset in the middle of the night, I wondered what the neighbors must have thought. Parking is limited, though you can leave the car by the road. We were without hot water for two and a half days and had to wait for the owner to get it working. The reception ladies didn’t speak English, which made communication almost impossible. Maybe I’m picky about accommodation, but it bothered me that the owner seemed not to address the hot water until we spoke to them. The neighboring places seemed more or less full while this one had rooms available, which made me wonder why. I’d recommend it to couples who mainly want to be near the beach, or families with children around four or five.
