The garden is lovely, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are helpful. The hotel is also really close to the beach. Breakfast was varied and very good, but the pandemic rules felt like too much: masks and gloves, plus only 3 people allowed in the food room, which led to queues. A vaccination-only policy might have been simpler, or the food could have been served in the garden bar.
Semeli seems to improve every year. Even the small changes make a noticeable difference. It's clean and elegant, with warm, polite people who are happy to help and always greet you with a smile. The rooms are consistently clean, and the WiFi works fine in almost any room. There's plenty of parking, and it's a good place whether you come with children or without. I also loved having a drink at the bar, especially a cocktail while enjoying the sea view. Give it a try, it's worth it.
The beds were very comfortable, though a mattress topper would help when they're pushed together, since otherwise you end up between the mattresses. The shower was a little tricky to get to the right temperature. Breakfast was simple, and the beach is very close. They also clean every day.
Semeli feels like a family you return to with love, again and again. It becomes a bright memory that stays with you through the year until you can go back. The woman who runs the place and her family are so kind, and the rooms are spotless. The breakfast is great and varied, too. I recommend this place with all my heart.
A lovely garden, a nice host, and all you need for a comfortable holiday. It's the kind of place you'd want to return to.
