The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the location is one of Corfu’s best, with direct beach access, lovely sea views and Corfu Town nearby. The property feels dated, especially the rooms, which could use refurbishment and modernization. Some facilities also fall short of current luxury resort standards. The gym was quite limited, with just one standard treadmill. It may still feel luxurious by some European standards, but international travelers used to more contemporary luxury may find parts of the property in need of updating. The location and warm hospitality were definite highlights. Updating the rooms and facilities would help the resort meet today’s travelers’ expectations.

A perfectly fine resort, though nothing special. The pool and beach are nice, and both the bar service and breakfast are good. Family dining choices are very limited and pricey. There’s a great little taverna on the beach next to the resort for lunch, with other places nearby too.

The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the attention to detail was spot on. I made a few requests and they were handled dutifully, with some extra amenities provided. The rooms were clean, and the meals were tasty with a good variety. It’s hard to fault this idyllic hotel. We had a great stay, explored the nearby marina, and took the shuttle to visit Old Town one morning. Hats off to Kontokali, credit where it’s due.

The room was spotless and had everything we needed, and the reception staff were really helpful. There were plenty of sun loungers on the private beach, though not many by the pools. The pool looks lovely after dark. We spotted lots of lizards around the hotel and along the little road to the main road and shop. We had a really nice stay.

The bay views toward Corfu town were stunning, and we had a wonderful nine days here. The hotel was spotless, with friendly, helpful staff who suggested some great excursions and helped us arrange a hire car. There was a good choice of high-quality food, and the clean, safe beach and warm indoor and outdoor pools were both lovely. We also enjoyed the little marina, where you can hire self-drive boats or SUPs, or join a guided boat trip. We’d happily return.
