The rooms are spacious, nicely designed, and have great amenities. The shower pressure wasn’t the best, but that’s to be expected when seven men are showering at the same time in all the bathrooms :D It’s set apart from the village, though not too far away, in a nice secluded area. Strong recommendation!

The villas sit in a quiet corner of Naxos, about a 10-15 minute walk into town. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, even serving breakfast early or late to fit around the activities we had planned. They also gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat, so just ask! I saw reviews worrying about pests and the pool, but those issues have been fixed, and the place was very clean. Don’t skip it. Fantastic experience!

We spent four nights here and had a wonderful time. Our family enjoyed the spacious villa and pool, and the staff were excellent. After we got our bearings, walking to town and a great supermarket was easy. We liked being away from town and the 4x4s each night. Breakfast was fresh and tasty every morning, parking was easy, and it was handy to borrow umbrellas for the beach. I was surprised by many of the negative reviews, which may come down to cultural differences or expectations. My one suggestion is to put a binder with maps, brochures, or recommendations in each villa to help guests get oriented when they arrive.

Fotini went out of her way to do our laundry when we asked, and brought breakfast to our room on our last day since we had to leave early. The property was quaint and well run, and the staff were wonderful and responsive to our needs. I’d take negative reviews about bugs in context: when you’re in nature during warm weather, bugs can get into any building, even a home in North America. The price seemed in proportion to the accommodations overall. If you want a five-star exceptional resort, expect to pay that kind of price, or adjust your expectations and accept that this villa came at a reasonable rate.

We paid €530 for two nights at Kallos Villas, expecting to use the pool, and it was green and murky from the moment we arrived. Flies were everywhere around it, landing on us every few seconds, so sitting by the pool wasn't relaxing. We hadn't seen that elsewhere on Naxos. The host said dirt had rained from Egypt three days earlier, that cleaning had started, and the water needed a few more days to clear. They said they'd try to fix it during our stay, but it stayed murky even after they said it had been cleaned. The photos were taken after that cleaning. We told them the pool was a big reason we'd booked for our short time in Naxos, and we wouldn't have reserved the place if we'd known it was unusable. They refused to refund the second night so we could stay somewhere else, saying it wasn't their fault. They also said no to a partial refund for the missing facility. We walked down to the sea and saw clear blue pools elsewhere, which made their explanation hard to believe. After a lot of back and forth, they gave us a bottle of wine, but that didn't make up for the disappointment or the fact that we couldn't afford alternative accommodation without a refund. The room itself was lovely, spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. It's more self catering accommodation than the resort it was advertised as, which is fine as long as you know that. Breakfast also fell short of what was shown: the fruit seemed old, jam came in processed little plastic packets, and the fried eggs were cold and looked like they'd been sitting out since service began. The shower gels had expired in 2024. Those last two things weren't awful, but showed a lack of attention. We didn't raise them then because the pool issue had already spoiled the stay and we'd complained enough. I don't usually leave bad reviews and would have preferred to settle this directly. If they'd let us leave and refunded that second night, we would have accepted it. I wouldn't recommend Kallos Villas as a resort. If you just want a villa with no extra services, that may suit you, but this felt like a poorly planned rental operation that couldn't deliver what it promised and responded to our concerns with excuses and a bottle of wine.
