We felt uncomfortable during our stay because of how the management treated us. They were aggressive, rude, and intimidating. We booked through Booking.com after seeing that the apartments had hot tubs on the balconies, but ours had neither a hot tub nor sun loungers. They also didn’t provide towels. We calmly and politely called to check we had the right apartment. The manager, a woman speaking on the phone, screamed at us. We were two adult women travelling with two children. Booking.com was empathetic when we contacted them, but didn’t resolve the issue. We stayed anyway, though the situation left us uneasy. Afterwards, Blue Sea Naxos told Booking.com we were a “no show” and cancelled our booking, which meant we couldn’t leave a review there. That felt dishonest and misleading, and these aren’t people I’d want to give my money to. Agios, the local town, is beautiful, with lots of great little beachside apartments. I’d choose one of those instead. There are also amazing restaurants, so you can avoid walking 20 minutes in the dark after dinner or trying to eat on a balcony that’s too windy.

The apartment itself was very nice, so that wasn’t the problem. We’d booked and paid in full for four nights in the “Two- Bedroom Apartment with Sea View,” which included a hot tub, through Booking.com. We paid extra because this was a special trip and our first time in Greece. After checking in, we realized we’d been given a lower-value “2 Bedroom Apartment with Ocean View” instead. Antonio was very helpful and accommodating. The booking agent couldn’t speak with us until the next day, then admitted there had been a mix-up and wanted to make it right. We agreed to stay one more night, since we already had a full day planned, and let them rebook the apartment for the final two nights. But then she stopped replying to our texts and messages through the Booking app. I hadn’t planned to write a review, but felt I should warn others and advise against using Booking.com for this.

We were worried because there weren’t many reviews and the price was affordable, but the place delivered. It’s a beautiful location, brand new and very spacious, with an ocean view and lots of parking. We got a warm welcome at reception, and they helped us plan day trips.
