Blue Garden Apartments

Just outside Roda’s busy center, Blue Gardens has a lovely relaxed feel at night. It’s a cosy place to sit with a drink and listen to great music. There’s bingo, Greek-style barbecues, and live music from a fabulous band. The owners are fantastic and put so much effort into making your stay or visit the best they can.

It’s family-run and feels like visiting old friends. I first came last year, returned this year, and have already booked for next year. Everyone’s very helpful. The only trouble is that time flies by too fast.

Spiros was a helpful, friendly host, and we really enjoyed our September stay at Blue Gardens, Roda. The pool and sunbed area was spotless and never busy. It’s a nice walk to and from town, past the olive grove, sea, and horses. The shower was small and the curtain wasn’t great. On the plus side, they left a mop and bucket so we could dry the bathroom after using it. There was just one toilet roll provided. We thought they’d forgotten about us until another guest explained that they provide one to get you started, then you buy your own. That was a first for us, but now you know 😜

The service was really friendly, with plenty of parking next to the restaurant. The ambience is pleasant, too. We started with a very tasty appetizer, then had a main course that was really well prepared. The dessert was stunning, and you have to try the baklava. I’ve never had olives fresher or meatier than these. I recommend it without reservation.
