Kouros Art Hotel - Adults Only

Our room had amazing views from the hilltop, and we could watch the sunrise every morning. We also loved the beautiful art around the hotel. The area of stelida was peaceful, with some of the best views I’ve seen in the Mediterranean. We’d rate the stay 9/10 and would definitely return and recommend it to friends. From the start, the team was welcoming and ready to help with anything. We had actually got off the ferry on the wrong island, Ios, but Elli told us not to panic. They arranged a new transfer and were waiting for us in the morning. When we arrived, they stored our luggage so we could have breakfast, which was lovely and included local delicacies. Fresh orange juice was our favorite. For our fifth anniversary, we came back to a room decorated with towels and flower petals, plus a complimentary bottle of wine. Such a lovely gesture. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a peaceful break. Being adults only made it very quiet, just as we wanted. We had the pool to ourselves for a couple of days, and the hot tub was usually empty. The staff arranged a rental car that was dropped off and picked up at the hotel, which made it easy to explore the island. They also organized our transfer when we left. Our room was breathtaking and spotless, with all the little things we needed. It was cleaned and mopped every day. We did have a couple of issues with the fridge cutting out, and there were some ants in the room, though that seems pretty normal in hot Mediterranean countries. We couldn’t fault the hotel or ask for anything more.

The in-house restaurant was a highlight for us, the food was outstanding and a must try if you stay here. The bartender was a nice guy who made great cocktails, and everyone on the team was incredibly friendly and helpful, easily 11 out of 10 for service. Our room was comfortable and had a cute private terrace. The view from the hotel grounds was amazing, too. They can arrange a rental car at an affordable price, which you’ll need since the island is big and there’s lots to explore. We really loved Kouros art hotel as a spot for a relaxed getaway. Keep in mind that this hotel is outside the city center. We still had a wonderful experience. The infinity pool was a great place to unwind after exploring, and dinner at the hotel was divine, with first-class service. The staff were pleasant and professional, and they fulfilled all our wishes. They helped with directions and how to get to the places we wanted to see. Our room was large, with a comfortable bed and clean, well-equipped bathroom and shower facilities, including toiletries. The hotel was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

This has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Greece so far. Everyone at reception and in the restaurant and breakfast area was among the most hospitable people I’ve met here. One night, our room smelled like sulphur for some reason. The staff acted quickly and offered us another room so we could sleep in comfort. The smell went away after a while, so we didn’t need to move, but having that option was really nice. The bartender and waiter was friendly and helpful, too. We came at the end of peak season, so I can only imagine how wonderful it might be during peak season. It’s a bit far from the port, so renting a car is probably the best way to get to the hotel and around the island.
