Arcadion Hotel

The location and rooms were good, but based on my experience the service was absolutely zero, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. We came on a Friday for a Corfu experience, and I’d stayed at this establishment before, so I thought I knew what to expect. At reception, we asked for two rooms, one for a couple and one for a teenager and an adult. The receptionist was very rude and said we’d asked for rooms for one person and would have to pay extra, even though one room had a queen-size bed and the other had two single beds. We paid the extra €40, which wasn’t a big deal, but said we’d do it later because we were heading out. Dinner was good until we ordered the “fresh” shrimp pasta. The shrimp didn’t seem freshly caught, and seemed store-bought; there were only four, despite the €19 price. The pasta was bland and had no salt. We told the waiter, who said he’d change it, though he looked annoyed by the complaint. We ordered a beef burger instead, and it was really good. As soon as it arrived, a man I think was the manager asked me to come with him. He was rude and arrogant, and took me away from the table while I was eating just to bring up the earlier €40. I’d already paid it, and we argued about the service.
