Picture Suites

Agios Stefanos is beautiful, a bit farther from the popular resorts, and about an hour's drive from the airport. Renting a car would help if you want to explore more, though you need to feel confident on the right side of the road and on narrow, winding roads. I worried my two teenagers might get bored in such a quiet resort, but they loved the relaxed mood, pool, beach and restaurants. We also took a boat trip from the harbour and a taxi into Corfu town for the day. Spiros, the taxi driver Nia can connect you with, showed us some lovely spots on the way back and knew the area well. His fares were more reasonable than those of the transfer company we used. At Pictures Suites, the views of Agios Stefanos beach and the Diapontia Islands were incredible, and watching the sun set over the islands each evening was a real highlight. Our room was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. It may be one of the best on the island. Nia and her team welcomed us warmly, with complimentary drinks, fruit, wine, and more bottled water than we could use. I could feel myself relaxing as soon as we arrived. The hotel is so peaceful, and we felt at ease the whole time. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and I especially recommend the special omelette. We skipped dinner at the hotel, but enjoyed the breakfasts, lunches and snacks, which were just right and reasonably priced for such a lovely place. The staff made the stay. Nia and the team are genuinely warm and kind, and went above and beyond to help us a couple of times. I'll always remember that. Thank you to Nia, Dora, George, Litsa, Christos and the whole Pictures Suites family for a holiday we'll remember. We loved it here and can't wait to return, hopefully to the master suite next time. If you can book it, do. It's out of this world.

The beach bar setting is beautiful, and the atmosphere feels relaxed but refined. Litsa and George welcomed us so warmly, and their attentive service and friendly smiles made every day a pleasure. They also make the best frappé coffees in all of Corfu. We had an unforgettable time and would gladly come back.

The balcony was a lovely place to watch the amazing sunset over the sea. We had a fantastic stay, with wonderful service and a great breakfast at this exclusive hotel. It made our vacation feel just perfect.
