Mare Suites

We first booked just one night to get some rest during our long trip around Greece, but liked it so much that we wanted to stay for the rest of the weekend. Our second-floor apartment had a view of the beach, a large room and a really comfortable bed. It was well equipped and had a luxurious design. There’s a lovely pool too, and an amazing beach only 10 meters away. Parking is available, and the host gave us a very warm welcome along with great restaurant recommendations nearby. I’d definitely recommend this place.

On our way back to Athens from Nafplion, we booked one night and were able to check in early. The rooms were very spacious and clean, and good value for money. We got restaurant recommendations and picked The Lighthouse, just a couple of minutes away on foot. Free parking is available on site.

The owner was so nice to us that she even let us stay beyond checkout, which made our one-night visit wonderful. The rooms are modern but simple. Each one comes with free coffee and a selection of breakfast items and snacks. I’d definitely come back.

We spent ten days in Mare Suites, in apartment #6, the Gray suite. The beach is only a few meters beyond the gate, with several nice spots nearby, including beach restaurants. Faros is worth a try for fresh fish. For more traditional Greek food or pizza, Mackenzie’s is a 10-minute drive to ancient Korinthe, outside Lechaio. The building looks striking beside its surroundings, with a modern, luxurious feel inside and out, and the pool was a real pleasure. Venetia and the staff welcomed us with coffee, wine, fruit in the fridge, and breakfast for the next morning. Our rooms were clean and spacious, with lots of storage. Every room has sliding doors to the outside, mosquito nets, air conditioning, and sound insulation when the doors are closed. The WiFi had enough bandwidth for streaming.
