The family who run Pegasus are what keep bringing us back. They treat us so kindly, and we’ve been coming for quite a few years. Gyrgos was helpful and obliging as we settled in. The village is beautiful, and Pegasus rooms sit right in the middle of it. Trees and plants around the entrance and patio make a lovely first impression. Our room was clean, with bottled water in the fridge and complimentary coffee and creamer. Some rooms have balconies with a table and chairs. And breakfast is the best of the best, served at your table, family style, on the hotel terrace overlooking both the ocean and the Acropolis. There’s thick honey, maybe apricot homemade jam, Greek yogurt so thick your spoon stands up in it, fresh fluffy rolls, moist marble pound cake, toast and cookies, hard-boiled eggs, ham and cheese, fruit, coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice from their own trees. March is peak season for the oranges. We also got whole tomatoes with oregano on our last morning. We hope to be back again next year, God willing.
