The owners were so warm and helpful, checking with us every day and making us feel like we'd known them for years. On our last evening we went out with them and some friends, and left with a promise to meet again. We were there for four days with nine adults and six children, and everyone had a great time. The house felt like home as soon as we walked in, with loads of space and everything we needed. The kids barely left the pool. We'll definitely be back, it really is worth a visit.

The only thing we missed was being able to chat more easily with the owners, since they don't speak English. One of their children helped with communication and Google Translate, though, and you could tell what lovely people they are even without sharing a language. They treated us like family, sorted out any little problems quickly, and did their best to meet every request. They even brought us stuffed vegetables, local cheese, meat for the grill, and other thoughtful treats, and invited us to a birthday celebration with their children and relatives. The house itself is spacious, attractive, and clean. There was no air conditioning in the living room and kitchen, but even in August we didn't feel we needed it.

Villa Amelia was spotless and had all the comforts we needed. We had an amazing stay, and the hosts made it feel special. I'd happily recommend it.
