After spending the day at Stegna beach, we stopped at this lovely family business for coffee and enjoyed the stunning view. They have a little coffee spot for drinks and refreshments, and you can also book their self-catering apartment or rent a boat. You don’t need a boat driving license. I’d recommend it 💯

The location in Stegna is nice, but this hotel was a complete disappointment. Our room had been prepaid and booked in advance, yet it appeared to have been rented out without being cleaned. It was dirty in every corner, especially the bathroom. I’ve never had a problem with a three-star hotel before, but all I expected was a clean room. The hygiene was so poor that staying overnight was unacceptable, and we had to move to another hotel. There was no fair resolution, such as refunding the payment. The money paid in advance was not returned even though the service we paid for wasn’t provided. I strongly recommend against paying ahead. Never again. Other feedback appears to describe the same problems, and I reported the hotel to Booking. Comments added to address inaccurate allegations below, Dec 4, 2022: 1. The stay was unacceptable because of the hygiene, not the distance. I’ve already visited Rhodos Town. I can add more photos to document the room’s condition. 2. I posted this review later because there was a lot of discussion with Booking and with you, as you know. The prepaid service wasn’t delivered. The money was kept even though the room was too dirty to use, and there was no refund. That’s factual. You received the money in advance without providing the service. I won’t pay for an uncleaned room or stay in a hotel that rents rooms in that state. When I book, I expect at least a clean room. 3. I described the problem immediately after seeing how dirty the room was, and we left the hotel right away. We didn’t stay for three hours. 4. Whether a room is booked for one night or 100, it has to be cleaned. If you don’t take care of guests staying one night, you’ll have to accept honest feedback. People don’t want an experience like this ruining their holiday. I’m happy to address more inaccurate claims and upload pictures of how the room looked.

The only small drawback was the slow Wi-Fi. Otherwise, I had a really nice stay. The place was very clean, and everything we needed was there. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner was chatty and nice. Breakfast came with our stay. It was simple, but there was plenty of it. The room was simple too, but modern, clean, and fresh. The beach is just across a small road, about 20 metres away.

Stegna is a tiny village with just enough facilities, and we liked that it wasn’t too crowded. The sea is amazing for snorkelling. We had a superb stay at Anastasia studios and definitely want to come back. The room was very clean and seemed well maintained, and the garden was a lovely extra place to sit and relax. Breakfast was good and fresh, served either in the garden or at Yamas grill, the family’s restaurant. The family running the apartments and restaurant are one of a kind. They’re helpful, kind, and laid-back, and really do make you feel like family.
