The accommodation is simple but well placed for the beach, buses to Chania, restaurants, and a good bakery and coffee nearby. It was clean, the A/C worked, and fresh towels and linens were provided daily. The lady who looked after the rooms was so lovely and helpful. Thanks for the wonderful Cretan hospitality.

The nearest beach is lovely and not too busy, and there are other equally nice beaches within walking distance. The apartments are attractive, with shops for groceries and plenty of places to eat close by. The owner was very helpful. It’s on a hill with amazing mountain views, near Chania, and there’s a bus into town. Mostly Scandinavian tourists in the area.

We fell in love with chania and had a fantastic stay at rainbow apartments. The apartment was spacious and very clean, with a huge bed, modern bathroom, and excellent air conditioning. The receptionist was brilliant. A beautiful beach is a five-minute walk away, and the bus stop across the road takes about 10 minutes to the town centre, with its picturesque restaurants. Room 20 could use a toaster. There’s a kettle and a large fridge, plus pans, plates, and cutlery, but there’s nothing to cook on and no microwave. It isn’t advertised as self-catering, so I’m not sure why. There’s no iron either, in case anyone needs one. Towels were changed every two days. We loved it, loved it, loved it.

The staff were polite, the apartment was very clean, and the location was good. Check-in and check-out times were flexible. I’d definitely recommend it.

There was no parking, but the room was spacious enough and had a king-sized bed. It was close to both the market and the beach.
