A lovely, quiet place in Chania for couples, solo travellers, and families. The rooms are roomy and very clean, with all the essentials and even extra equipment. The pool is nice, and the relaxing surroundings made it feel like a village. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can walk to the beach, and everything else you might need during your holiday is close: supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, a kids’ park, and a bus stop that goes straight to the centre of chania.

Update: July 2025 We came back to Sorta Apartments for our summer holiday this year, and it’s still an amazing place. The owner is just as friendly and made us feel at home again. We’ll definitely return. This place will always be part of our family’s vacation memories. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you need for a lovely family stay with a toddler. There are 4 beaches, 2 grocery stores, and a bus stop within walking distance, so you don’t really need to rent a car. Great location, and I highly recommend it.

Panagiotis was helpful with every request we had, and the apartment was cleaned daily. We arrived to fresh fruit and flowers, a thoughtful touch you don’t find everywhere. The apartment was spacious and clean, with lovely green areas and a refreshing pool. The beach and bus stop for town are both just a few minutes away on foot. Five stars from us!

There’s a nice collection of vintage bikes here, and the owner can take you on a tour and tell you about them. He was welcoming and helpful, and everything you need is nearby. The place has a beautiful garden, clean swimming pool, and spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend.

We booked three apartments for our extended family of 10 and had a great time. The apartments were spacious and clean, the location was perfect, and the swimming pool was excellent. The owners are lovely people. We’d definitely recommend staying here. A massive thanks to Panagiotis and his mum!
