This was our second time at The House By The Sea, and we'll definitely return. I brought my family for a mix of holiday time and a writing retreat, and it worked perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone, including a quiet place for me to write. Natalia is an amazing host who takes such good care of the guests and property. The location is perfect, and both the house and garden are lovely. Natalia makes improvements every year, and this time there was a wonderful new pool.

Nataly is lovely and very accommodating, and the beds were really comfortable. The home is right on the beach, near the Venetian harbour and Chania. The yard is amazing, and the air conditioning worked great. I'd highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day.

This was a great base for hiking or day-trips to the gorges, Elafonissi or Balos, and we'll recommend it to friends and family. The house is amazing, very clean, and sits across from a perfect sandy beach. It's safe for children and convenient for older kids, with great outdoor space. We barbecued over a wood fire in the outdoor kitchen, which was fabulous. Our hosts were warm, available, and full of good tips. We couldn't have been happier.

The hosts are wonderful and ready to help with any need, big or small. The price is very reasonable, especially when booked by more than 5 people. This is one of the most beautiful bnb houses I've stayed in. It's an old building but has been recently renovated, and its unique location makes it ideal for a summer holiday in Chania. Highly recommended!
