That warm, family-run feel made our stay at Theos Village Hotel in May 2025 especially nice. We’d been in touch with the family beforehand, and they arranged an airport pickup that was still there even when our flight came in late. They also shared ideas for things to do in Chania. Breakfast and dinner were available to buy at the hotel and both were delicious. I’d recommend staying here. ❤️

The location worked really well for us, with the beach about 10 minutes away and Chania roughly a 40-minute walk along a pleasant, well-used coastal path if you keep a brisk pace. The pool caught the sun into the late afternoon, and the apartment and the other areas we saw were very clean. We also enjoyed the well-prepared food. From arrival to departure, the whole family running the complex made us feel welcome. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the Chania area. ❤️

We had such a good family stay at Theos. The rooms were tidy and clean, and the beds were comfortable, though the kitchen had limited cooking facilities. The family staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, with plenty of good local suggestions. Thanks for everything, and do try Alex’s cocktails during happy hour! I’d highly recommend it.

We’d happily come back to Theos Village when we return to Crete. The family and staff greeted us warmly and were always ready to help, and our room was clean with all the amenities we needed. There are good restaurants nearby, and the bus stop for Chania, including larger buses for trips, is just a four-minute walk away. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.
