Ilias Apartments

The rooms were clean and nice, and the cleaning lady was always smiling and very sweet. It was nice that all the guests were Danish and talked to each other. The owner, though, was a grumpy old man who never said good morning or smiled. Our flight was late at night, and since the room had been rented out, we had to leave our suitcases in the lobby. We asked if we could shower later because we wanted to go to Yannis beach, a three-minute walk away. The owner's daughter said we could use the roof area by the little pool, where there was a toilet and shower. The water was cold, but I needed to freshen up and wash the sand off. The pool area was clean, but the pool itself had feathers, bugs, and other things in it. I asked how often it was cleaned and was told every day, but it looked like that for the whole week. Nobody used it, and it closed at 7 p.m. The pool needs renovating. I'm not sure I'd come back.
