Primavera Hotel

The hotel is simple but clean, and it had everything we needed. We loved the pool, gardens and bar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a good base for exploring the island, though not the best fit if you're after a beach holiday. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were okay, but they could use a kettle for making a drink. Breakfast was poor, with very little choice and the same few things every day. The staff were friendly and really helpful. It's a quiet resort, and the hotel is conveniently located for the bus to Corfu town.

The hotel had a relaxed feel, with a pool area and garden that were kept tidy every day. On Fridays they put on a barbecue night with dancers, and the staff were friendly throughout. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was free. We were glad of that, and the safe needed a €10 deposit. There wasn't much wardrobe space, though we managed for the two weeks. Getting to restaurants was the main hassle. There aren't many nearby, and the busy road makes the trip awkward. The two large IKOS hotels have taken over a big part of the beach and, sadly, half of Dassia. We hired a car for our stay, which made getting around easier.

There isn't much to do right around the hotel, which was a shame, though it could work well as a base if you have a car or are comfortable taking buses. The hotel itself is simple but very clean, and the staff were genuinely helpful. Breakfast was a decent continental spread with plenty to choose from. The pool was spotless, if a bit chilly when you first got in. Our room had free air conditioning, a safe and a TV. There were quite a few mosquitoes inside, but keeping the room cool seemed to stop them. The shower was on the small side, but very clean.
