Wilde Rose Hotel

The staff really made us feel looked after. Arta,Amalia and Dimitris were kind and professional, and even let us check in several hours early because our flight arrived very early. The hotel was quiet throughout, which mattered a lot to us, with no parties around. Our room was clean and comfortable for two, and we got fresh sheets and towels every day, plus room cleaning, something we hadn't expected at a 2 star hotel. It's easy to get around from here, with bus stops, shops, and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant across from the hotel, and the beautiful sandy beach is only a couple minutes' walk away, so we didn't need a bus or rental car to get there. The September stay was very pleasant and good value. If we come back to beautiful Corfu, we'd stay here again without hesitation.

The garden behind the property gave the place a laid-back, almost summer-home feel, and there was a great bar downstairs with big cocktails at good prices. Our host Dimitris was also easy to turn to for advice and recommendations. Getting around was simple: the bus to Corfu center is a 2-minute walk away, and the ride is air-conditioned and usually not too crowded. A great beach is about 5 minutes on foot. The room had air conditioning, a TV, a comfortable bed, a mini fridge, and a small but practical WC, with enough space to move around without tripping over our luggage. A million-dollar tip: Angelo's pizza across the street was among the best Italian-style pizzas we've ever had. We can't recommend the place enough, especially for the value compared with prices elsewhere on the island.

The staff were so welcoming, kind, and helpful, especially Dimitris. You can tell they put their heart into what they do. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food delicious. The bus stop, a grocery shop, and a Blue Flag beach are all a short walk away. Highly recommend!

We had a great time eating at the restaurant, with every meal better than the one before and the food quality impressing us throughout. The rooms were spotless, with housekeeping coming daily. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived, and made sure our stay was comfortable. The location is ideal too, just a short walk to the beach for sun and sea. Wild Rose was a wonderful stay, and I'd happily return. Highly recommended for a beachside getaway.
