We stayed in Cleo, where the bed was comfortable, the towels were good quality, and the pillows were firm, which suited us. The bed is the same size as an American queen. Air conditioning and wifi both worked well, and there was space on the window shelf for toiletries. The shower is in the bathroom without a separate stall, but the water pressure was good. Breakfast was €15 and absolutely worth it. They bring it to you on the beautiful terrace, with fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, sweets, and lots of Greek treats. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk over the hill to town. Both our ATM cards were swallowed by a machine, which was really frustrating. The bank told us to call our American bank for replacements. Luckily mine sent a digital card right away, so I could withdraw cash. Since then, I only tap my card. The service was another great part of the stay. Everyone was kind. We left some clothes in the room, and they kindly drove them to Itea so a courier could take them to Athens before we left.

The breakfast is well worth having, and we had a lovely stay. The bathroom is quite cramped, though, so showering leaves the toilet and floor completely wet. Just a small issue.

The breakfast was a real treat, served to us overlooking the water. They brought a tray with things like tomato on toast, specialty sweets, fruit, and yogurt, then made eggs or crepes to order. Really good. Our room had lots of space, which was welcome after a couple of small rooms elsewhere. The bathroom was a bit quirky but did the job, and the beds were so comfortable we slept well all three nights. We loved our stay at this charming little hotel and would highly recommend it.

We had Calypso, with a delightful view of the old port and Galaxidi center. The old traditional house is charming, the staff are friendly and kind, and breakfast with local products was delicious. The shower room is tiny but works well. The bedding wasn’t my favorite, with a very soft mattress and thick pillows. I used a folded towel instead of one pillow overnight, and the staff kindly brought a thinner one the next day. There are three nearby parking spots; if they’re full, finding parking around there is fairly easy. I’ll book here again when I’m back in the area, and ask for thin pillows.
