Nidimos Hotel

Violeta’s advice gave us the information we needed to enjoy the city after a really interesting visit to the archaeological museum. At Nidimos Hotel, we also had a spacious room with very nice furniture and a generous breakfast of fresh local products. We had a fantastic stay. If you’re visiting Delphi, I recommend spending at least one night here, or more if you want to explore the region.

Victoria made a last-minute stay feel fantastic. She greeted us at reception and was kind, professional, gracious, and helpful. We were upgraded from our economy room at no extra cost and given a delicious refreshment. Booking through the easy-to-use hotel website was straightforward, and it had the lowest price.

The breakfast alone was worth every cent, with plenty of choice, hot food, and great local produce. The hotel sits right in central Delphi, with beautiful views over the mountains and the sea toward Ithea, including sunrise and sunset. The people who run and work here are the heart of the place, with warm service, smiles, and a lovely energy. It’s humble and modest, without pretending to be a grand five-star hotel. They call themselves a three-star hotel, but to me it feels like four. I’ve travelled the world for work and always say there’s no place like my home, like my Greece. This hotel and its people are a beautiful example of that. I’d only ever passed through Delphi before, so this was a lovely surprise. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas. Love, love! Breakfast was very, very good, and the view was great. The hotel was clean, though our room showed some wear. It’s an older place that’s been renovated. The bathroom was small, which seems normal for Europe, and its frosted glass door didn’t give much privacy. Parking was a little tricky because the entrance is so tight. An average hotel overall.
