Lovely houses built of stone.

The location turned out to be somewhere different from what it first seemed. The owners hadn’t told us there’d be no water at all. Instead, they blamed the neighbor for turning off the supply, even though they clearly knew there was no water. At check-in, the owner brought us a 6-gallon bottle without explaining what to expect. We paid a lot and couldn’t even flush the toilet. There were flies and webs on the windows, too. I don’t think the rooms are ready for guests this time of year, but if someone like us does show up, they’re sent away without the care they need.

Kostas and Liana were wonderful hosts, always ready to point us toward good choices. The place is just outside Arachova, out on a plain, and makes a lovely base for a weekend with friends. You can visit Arachova and Delphi, or enjoy the ski resort and other activities, so there’s plenty even for people with high expectations.

We had such a nice, comfortable stay and were really happy. The owners were very kind and helpful. Thank you so much!
