White Hills Suites & Spa

The central location in the village of Arachova was the one saving grace. The room looked nothing like the photos, and the bathroom was tiny, cramped, and boxed in with drywall. There was no storage space, the walls were paper thin, and even the toilet paper they provided was already wet. We stayed three days, but they never changed the sheets or brought fresh towels. One of the worst stays I’ve had.

Staying in a stone house gave us a chance to experience the local culture, and the hotel has kept its traditional architecture. It’s just 30 meters from the main road, with free parking available. The town is incredibly romantic. I loved hearing the two nearby churches chime every hour. Some people might find the sound noisy, but to me it felt like a local tradition, and I looked forward to each chime.

The price was outrageous for what we got, and the advertised features felt misleading, if not like an outright scam. Our room was in awful shape: the jacuzzi didn’t work, the Wi-Fi was down, and there was no bathroom light. The whole place seemed run-down and neglected, clearly needing renovation. When we asked the owner for a discount because of the problems, he threatened to call the police instead of taking responsibility. A terrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

We had a bad stay at white villa resort in Arachova. The suites weren’t clean, and there was no shower gel or shampoo. We couldn’t heat the jacuzzi, and the fan lights wouldn’t switch off, so it was hard to sleep. There was no Wi-Fi, and the price was very high.
