We loved exploring this quiet, scenic corner of Greece, and the hotel made a lovely base. It sits below a beautiful mountain, looking across to green, wooded hills. The family-run place is stylish, with quality furnishings and fittings, and the staff made us feel welcome with their kind, helpful manner. Breakfast was a treat: homegrown nuts, local artisan honey, yogurt and cheese, plus homemade jams.

We had a peaceful stay with a great view of the Dodoni archeological site and its amphitheater. Katerina was a wonderful hostess and knew so much about the area and its history. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and breakfast was delicious. Everything about the stay felt perfect.

Katharina, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and plenty of tips for restaurants and places to visit nearby. We followed her suggestion to see the Louros springs, where we dipped our feet in the 10 degree water. Such a refreshing stop! We had come to visit Dodoni amfitheater and spent one night at Mirtali art hotel. The room was clean and pleasant, with a view of the amfitheater, and breakfast included homemade pastries. We highly recommend the hotel.

The storm made our evening memorable. Thunder rolled and echoed around the mountains while we sat outside, and it was totally awesome. The only part we disliked was having to leave. We loved the whole stay and would be happy to return. Katerina is a deeply caring host, and the place feels made with real love and attention. This unique hotel was purpose built by Katerina, her brother and her mother to look out over the ancient Dodoni site, with a real appreciation for its history and the land and lineage of Dodoni.
