Pothiti Studios

The view over Stavros beach and the port was pure magic. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. The location worked really well for us without a car or other transport: the centre and Stavros beach are each about a seven-minute walk, and Kedros is around 20 minutes away. It’s close enough to the centre without being caught up in the noise and bustle. These are peaceful studios, managed professionally and kindly. They’re small, but roomy enough to be comfortable. The owners help arrange a ride from the port for guests who need one. Each studio has its own balcony, shower and access, plus a kitchenette set off to the side with a stove, mini fridge with freezer, and sink. There’s the basic cookware you need, including a kettle, filter coffee machine, pan, pot, a couple of plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery. A plastic bowl for washing is provided, and you can hang clothes on the balcony. The shower towels are good quality, there are small hotel olive soaps, and rubbish is taken from the rooms every day. A lovely black cat came by almost every day before dawn. We’re cat lovers, so we didn’t mind at all.

Sofia was such a friendly, helpful host. The rooms were roomy and well arranged, and the view was wonderful. It’s an excellent spot, and we’ll be back soon!
