Trizonia Bay Hotel

The hotel itself is very nice, and the employees were warm, friendly, and eager to help with problems. But the person who introduced himself as the owner, Mr. Takis, ruined the experience for us. In August 2023, my family and I had booked four rooms. We asked to use the tennis court in the morning after the regulated quiet hours ended at 7:00 am. He responded sarcastically that we couldn’t, because he was the boss and said so. That was exactly what he said, proudly, in front of everyone. When we challenged his behavior, he shouted that he didn’t want us as clients and that we shouldn’t come back because we were too smart and our “level” wasn’t the same as his. The local manager tried to sort things out and apologized on his boss’s behalf, though the owner never apologized. A few days later, while we were playing on the court, a woman came in during the game and demanded we leave so some children could use it. She said it was their property and they could do whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. We left after about 30 minutes, and the children started playing football on the tennis court. It’s a shame such a nice hotel is owned or managed by someone so rude, uncivilized, and unprofessional. The local manager again tried to make things right for his boss, offering a few free breakfasts and doing his best to improve the situation. Credit to him. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. If the tennis court can be handled this way, any service or amenity might depend on the owner’s mood that day.
