The terrace and infinity pool look out across the open Mediterranean, with the rugged landscape all around. Tainaron Blue is a quiet place for a creative or reflective break, far from city bustle. It sits at mainland Greece's southernmost point, an area known for its natural beauty and mythological history. The restored 19th-century watchtower has just 4 suites, so there's a rare sense of privacy and solitude, along with a pared-back Mediterranean feel.

Once you make the long drive, this remote part of the Peleponese rewards you with an authentic, beautiful tower overlooking the bay. It has been restored and is run by an architect. A lovely place to slow down, especially as a couple. The rooms are small, but have what you need, and the food was excellent.

The food was the best I've ever had, and breakfast was a treat, with lots of little dishes we enjoyed one by one. Kostas is a wonderful owner who really cares about his guests and made sure our stay was unforgettable. We spent 4 nights in the tower, which was especially exciting for our son. The view is breathtaking, and the pool is warm and filled with salt water. After a month visiting Greece, this magical hotel made our time in Mani one of our best adventures. Highly recommend it, and hopefully we'll be back soon!

Kostas and his team made us feel wonderfully looked after, and we're deeply grateful for the memorable stay. At Tainaron Blue, the panoramic mountain and sea views during dinner and breakfast were breathtaking, a truly special experience. The food was delightful and of the highest quality. We looked forward to every meal. Breakfast and dinner on both days were served with so much care by the staff and Mr Kostas, who explained each dish and made it a full experience. Everything was mesmerizing, and we wanted to try it all, which is a great reason to return. The room was cozy and minimal, nicely decorated, with super comfortable beds and linen. From the moment we arrived at Tainaron Blue, Mr Kostas, the owner, made us feel what real hospitality means and had thought of every detail. Every part of the stay felt unique. Mani is one of Greece's most beautiful places, and this was one of my best experiences so far. Worth every single euro!
