A budget hotel, but the breakfast was really poor!!!

I was disappointed. My room's balcony had a nice view, but the room itself was rather small. The breakfast was among the worst I've had at a hotel, so I had to buy food at the supermarket. Sound carried so much that I could hear people talking on the second floor while I was on the fifth. The TV was tiny, around 12 inches or so, and had one of the slowest refresh rates I've seen. I'm not even sure what to call it a TV.

I remembered enjoying this hotel when I stayed a few years ago, and its spot in town is convenient. This visit was a letdown: it looks a little run down, and breakfast was very basic. They said it was too cold for the air conditioning because it was May, so I had to ask them to turn it on. They did eventually.

The location is right in the city center, across from the Alexander the Great monument, so you can walk everywhere. The owners are very friendly and the service is amazing. The best hotel in Edessa, highly recommended.

We were only passing through, and the room was okay. A big thank you and warm greetings to the gentleman at reception!
