After leaving Elafonissos, I usually go on to visit other places in Greece, but nowhere compares. I get homesick as soon as I leave. This was my fourth year here, and I’ll return next year and in the years after, especially to see Mrs Alexandra, who feels like a second mom to me. Mrs.Alexander and Mr.Bobby make you feel part of their family. They're kind, helpful, and always around when you need something. The hotel is on the main street, has a priceless view and free parking, with restaurants and mini markets close by. The rooms are clean, the price is very convenient, and the sunbeds are free too.

Golden Star was a relaxing place to stay, and we wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very clean, with fresh towels and clean sheets, and Alexandra kept an eye on that for us. She and Harry were excellent, always available and helpful, and did everything they could to keep us happy. We stayed for 10 days. It’s right on the beach, with free umbrellas and parking, which is a must if you have a car. Shops, restaurants, and coffee places are all within walking distance, and there’s a mini market just two shops away. Thanks for taking care of everything while we relaxed and explored the island. Elafonisos and Golden Star were perfect for us, and we’ll be back.

The location is great, with restaurants and bars an easy walk away, and the rooms have been renovated. But they’re really small, and there’s no cleaning service. Even with a little kitchen, there were no plates, glasses, or cutlery. Poor value for money.

The owner gave us a parking spot just 8 meters from our room. The hotel was very clean and had a wonderful view.
