Villa Erini

The hosts were lovely and very accommodating, and the villa has a nice view from its spot in the center of Elia traditional village. Inside, it was cozy, pretty romantic, and very clean. It lived up to everything we expected. Definitely recommend it.

Our favorite moments were relaxing on the terrace, with its chairs and table, or enjoying the whirlpool and rocking chair in the sun from morning to evening. The apartment’s mix of traditional and modern style is really well done, and it was comfortable throughout our week for two. The location worked perfectly for a restful stay in Crete, and we would’ve happily stayed longer. We booked two excellent massages at short notice through relax4life. Emmanouela F. gave them to us so beautifully on the terrace. At Villa Erini, Michael was warm and always ready to help with questions or concerns, while never getting in our way. The Cretan treats provided were delicious. Thank you, we’d gladly return anytime.

The terrace is incredible, and the villa is stunning, with a huge modern bathroom and all the practical comforts: Wi-Fi, towels, linens, a washing machine, kitchen, and dishes. Michael even got groceries for us so we could cook when we arrived. He welcomed us warmly, gave us a little romantic gift for our honeymoon, and stayed available over our two days, taking great care of us. He’s sincere, genuine, and very kind. He also shared useful information about the village, including a very good restaurant across the street, and gave us a book with QR codes for GPS locations such as the pharmacy, market, and restaurant. He goes out of his way to help solve problems and really takes time to care about you. We formed real friendships there. Villa Erini is one of the most beautiful memories of my life, especially from our honeymoon. It’s a five-star property, though it deserves even more.
