Adrakos Apartments - Adults Only

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The owner was rude and yelled at me, and hung up several times when I called back to give him my credit card details. I’d first tried to book while driving, and he said he couldn’t reserve a room without a card. The online availability also seemed misleading: he offered a room for a few nights, then wanted us to switch for the remaining nights, even though the listing showed consecutive availability.

We loved our stay. This is a family-run hotel with a lovely restaurant, rooted in a Greek family’s home for generations. Calling it apartments doesn’t really capture the place. Don’t hesitate to book, and try the wood oven lamb.

The breakfast was tasty, and dinner at the restaurant is a must, especially the slow-cooked sheep and lamb. We also had a lovely chat with the owners over aperitifs at the bar. Our room was comfortable in a cozy Greek style, with what we needed; if something’s missing, reception will sort it out as soon as they can. We couldn’t use the pool because it was sunny but very windy, though it looked beautifully situated for a swim. And the view from the room really is like a postcard. Thanks to the owners and team for a nice stay.

The rooms are spacious and have amazing food. Everything has a simple, traditional Greek feel, and the staff were lovely, friendly, attentive, and amazing. I’d definitely recommend it.
