Mavrobolia is such a beautiful beach, with black volcanic rocks and a majestic midnight-blue sea. Mornings felt like a party with all the lovely guests around the homemade breakfast. It really felt like home away from home, with history, culture, family, and new friends.

We never look for another hotel in Chios as long as there’s a room available here. The staff always make us feel welcome, the spacious rooms are very clean, and breakfast is perfect each morning. A couple of seafood restaurants are within walking distance. You can walk to Mavra Volia for a morning swim, then head to Komi Beach for the rest of the day. It’s only 2 km from Emporios. A lovely place for a holiday.

The hotel has a cozy feel, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Everyone on staff was super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had lots of options and was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and will come back to enjoy this lovely town.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and at check-in they gave us a map of the island with beach and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and there’s a small, pleasant pool. We had an apartment-style room; we didn't use the kitchen, but everything in it was complete and spotless. The room was very clean and well maintained, with daily housekeeping. Parking was easy, and we could charge our electric car at the hotel’s station. Emporios Bay Hotel is about 300 meters from Mavra Volia Beach, around 50 minutes from the main town, and close to charming villages such as Pirgi and Mesta. Highly recommended for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Breakfast was great every day, and as a family of four we had a really good room: spacious, very clean, with new furniture and a little kitchen. The staff were always kind, helpful, and friendly. It's just a five-minute walk to our favourite beach in Chios, Mavra Volia. We can definitely recommend this hotel!
