The garden and terrace were lovely places to unwind in the morning or evening, and the bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. The room was simple but clean. Breakfast leaned heavily toward carbs, though there were eggs and a ham and cheese toast, along with fresh juice and butter. The hotel is very close to the ancient theater and easy to reach from the main road junction. Traffic noise lasted into the evening. We'd stay again.

We found the hotel neat and cozy, and its location worked really well for a visit to Epidaurus. The host was warm and welcoming, and breakfast was served with guests' needs in mind.

We chose this hotel for one night so we could attend an event at the nearby Epidaurus theatre. It was only a two-minute drive away. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the staff were really friendly. The whole place was tidy and clean, and I'd recommend it.

We'd happily return to Avaton Hotel. It's a lovely, clean place with an authentic feel, run by a family and staffed by polite, knowledgeable people. It's the closest hotel to the ancient theatre of Epidavros, and many well-known actors involved in the ancient plays have stayed here over the years. Breakfast was lovely too.

The family who run the hotel and their staff were friendly and knew the area well. Breakfast was lovely, with locally baked bread and honey. It's near Lygourio and the famous ancient theater of Epidaurus, and makes a handy base for Nafplion and other places of interest.
