Having the beach, pool, restaurant, and children's areas all on site made for a carefree stay, and lunch or dinner by the sea was a real treat. Breakfast was abundant and had lots of variety. The hotel was impeccable throughout, with excellent cleanliness, friendly staff in both the hotel and restaurant, and easy parking. A great place for a relaxing holiday, including for families.

The beach and pool were clean and beautiful, and the food was really tasty. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly. Mr. Igor was especially kind and pointed us toward some nice facilities around the hotel. It met all our expectations.

The breakfast was the best we had during our vacation in Greece, with lots of choices and good service. We had a great first stay at the Avantis, a nice little resort right on the beach. The shower was the one downside. There was a wall hook, but the shower head didn't fit it, so you had to hold the wand. Our room also had no curtain, and water ended up everywhere. Our friends next door did have one, oddly enough. We mentioned it at the front desk, but nothing changed.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was okay, but the rest was disappointing. At check-in, the sofa had stains. Reception put sheets over it and said they were from chlorine, which felt unexpected for a 4-star hotel. The TV was outdated, the main light flickered, and the air conditioner made noise. The pool always had bugs and leaves in it. Buffet food was average, which we could have lived with, but the tables were constantly covered with bees, which was frustrating and dangerous. The beach in front had seaweed.

We spent 8 nights here and had a fantastic time in Evia, Eretria. There are plenty of things to go and see, and really, hiring a car is a must if you want to explore the island. The food was amazing and everything was outstandingly clean. The room cleaners were wonderful, cleaning every day and greeting us each morning with "kalimera" or "good morning." Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so enjoyable.
