The balcony view is something else, especially at sunset over the harbor and rooftops. Ask for an upper-floor room and take it in from there. The Aegli is a small family-run place, so don't expect luxury; the rooms are a bit small. It's still my favourite budget hotel on my favourite Cycladic island. It's on a quiet side street above the harbor, right in the centre of Ermoupolis, with shops all around and the city easy to explore on foot. The owners give solid advice on where to go, what to see, and what to buy.

A clean, decent family-run hotel, more like a 3-star than a 2-star. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and you're close to everything in Ermoupoli, including the centre, bus and boat stations, amenities, facilities, cafes, and restaurants.
