Avlitis

Kyriakos was a very kind, helpful host, with good advice whenever we asked about restaurants, bars, or beaches. I stayed at Avlitis for nine days with my brothers. I'm Greek and have visited many Greek islands, but this was by far the cleanest and nicest hotel I've stayed in. If you're looking for a traditional Greek hotel and that well-known Greek hospitality, Avlitis is the place to go.

We were very pleased with our four days in Syros and would absolutely recommend the place. The rooms were cute, warm and welcoming, with everything we needed, and they were clean and tidy. They were also extremely affordable. The guest, Kiriakos, was polite and helpful. He welcomed us with cold homemade lemonade and local sweets, then helped us plan our trip and gave honest opinions on Syros bars and restaurants. The rooms are near the port, where there are lots of bars and restaurants, about 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car.

Kyriakos was an incredibly friendly and helpful host, and the stay at Avlitis made our Syros trip 100 times better. The rooms were traditional, picturesque, and clean. There's a rooftop with an incredible view of the island.

We stayed two nights in a great room at Maria's house. The shared spaces were excellent, and the roof garden had a top view. The room was clean and tidy, with air conditioning and a TV, and guests could use the games. We found the best price in town. We rented a bike, and it was a 10 minute ride to Hermoupoli old town. Maria and Antonis were very warm and welcoming.
