It’s wonderfully quiet here, with great apartments and lovely people. The famous Komobeach is five minutes away by car, and it’s one of Crete’s five most beautiful beaches. Platia, shops, a big supermarket and a delicious bakery are also close by.

The area is peaceful and affordable, with the sea and swimming pools nearby. The apartments are lovely. Matala is just 3 km away and has plenty of nightlife, while Pitsidia has good evening options too, including live music.

There’s lots of room in the apartment, along with a fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor area. It’s beautifully situated, and the beach is even closer on foot than it is from the village center.

The apartment wasn’t clean, and the hosts treated us with racism because we’re Israelis. I thought this kind of thing no longer existed. Stay away.

The people are really friendly, and the apartment was cozy, clean, and in perfect shape. One downside is the bar closes quite early: at 9 pm on weekdays, 4 pm on Saturday, and 2 pm on Sunday. You’ll definitely need a car to get anywhere, and food is only available until 4 pm. Still, I’d recommend it. The accommodation photos on the website really do show what it’s like.
